Deliveries

Once item is in stock

  • Delivery to North East, Yorkshire and Midlands 2 weeks
  • Rest of Mainland UK up to maximum of 4 weeks
  • Delivery to anywhere in UK is £15
  • Unfortunately we cannot deliver outside mainland UK.

At ‘Barkers Furniture’ we understand how important it is for our customers to have expert, professional and courteous delivery teams.

  • For deliveries within a 50-mile radius of our store we use our own delivery fleet.
  • When delivering using our own fleet or with our preferred carrier service we place the furniture in the room of your choosing
  • For deliveries over a 50-mile radius of our store our courier company offer one-man deliveries and therefore would require assistance at your premises

All delivery times given by us are approximate. We always give delivery times in good faith but cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss due to any reasonable delay or delays due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our reasonable control. Delivery times are shown in the details of each product.

It is your responsibility to advise us at the time of ordering your furniture of difficulties that may be encountered when delivering to your property ensuring this information is documented on the sales order form overleaf. Safe access to the room of choice must also be considered ensuring the route is clear.

Any costs incurred affecting delivery will not be the responsibility of Barkers Furniture, i.e. door or window removal etc.

Barkers Furniture are only responsible for delivery to your front door.

We require you to inspect your goods thoroughly upon delivery and let us know of any defects before our delivery team leave your property. Should a defect or fault be apparent with your furniture you should notify the delivery team before they leave. If the defect is covered by our guarantee the goods will be repaired by us or alternatively at our option, we will provide replacements.

If for any reason goods are not paid for in full prior to delivery - the goods remain the property of E. Barker & Son Ltd until fully paid.
