Linda is a welcome addition to our sales staff. Having spent many years selling upholstery, she likes nothing better than engaging with customers and is pleased to offer her experience and advice to help customers make the best choice of furniture for their home.

Kevin Linton

Being the longest serving member of staff, Kevin knows a thing or two about furniture. He is responsible for the smooth running of our warehouse and ensures new stock and display items are where they should be and deliveries are undertaken on time, with minimal inconvenience to customers.

Joan Slinn

Joan is our office manager and has been part of Barkers since 1996. She is a key member of the team, pulling together all aspects of office administration, which helps everything run efficiently.

Chris Wood

Part of the marketing team, Chris brings a creative flair to our website and is responsible for its overall look and style. He also designs most of the printed material and point of sale items for the company.

Claire Ramsden

Clare is a very capable and approachable member of staff. She always goes out of her way to help customers choose their ideal sofa or dining furniture.

Jeremy Lant

Jeremy has years of experience in all aspects of furniture and flooring products. He is very knowledgeable about all our bed, bedroom furniture and flooring items. Jeremy will happily offer advice to help you make an informed choice to get the look that will really complement your home.

Neil Barker

Neil has been with the business since 1999 and is presently the fourth generation of the family to be a director at the store. He is constantly trying to move the company forward and is innovative in developing and using technology to improve every aspect of the company.

Angela MacDonald

Based at our Bedroom & Carpet Centre on Penistone Road, Angela is a long serving member of the team, having joined in 1989. Her number one concern is that our customers have a pleasant and stress free experience when they shop with us. She has built up a considerable knowledge base of all the products we sell and is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Jonny, Graham & Darren

Darren, Graham and Jonny form our delivery team. They all take pride in delivering your furniture carefully and on time. They will endeavour to position the furniture where you need it and are also available to assemble your new furniture  on in situ.

Luke Smith

A relative newcomer, Luke has fitted in perfectly at our Bed, Bedroom & Carpet Centre. He is very approachable and has already amassed a great deal of knowledge about our bedroom and flooring products.

Gail Register

Apart from her administrative duties behind the scenes, Gail is often the first voice you hear when telephoning the store. If she is unable to answer your query she will forward your call to the person who will be able to give you the best assistance.

Adrian Mole

Adrian is our newest staff member and is part of the marketing team. He is also on hand to advise and assist customers with their furniture needs.
